The role
Supabase is hiring a platform security engineer to reduce risk across its AWS, Kubernetes and container infrastructure. You'll work with infrastructure, platform and SRE teams on practical, secure-by-default controls.
What you'll do
- Reduce security risk across AWS, Kubernetes and containerized workloads
- Run threat models, architecture reviews and risk assessments
- Harden Kubernetes and container isolation, RBAC, secrets and network policy
- Strengthen AWS IAM, network controls, logging, detection and encryption
- Build automation, guardrails and secure defaults with SRE and platform teams

- Senior-level platform, cloud, container or infrastructure security experience
- Deep hands-on AWS, Kubernetes, container and Linux security knowledge
- Experience in large cloud, multi-cluster or high-scale SaaS environments
- Clear written communication in an asynchronous team
- Ability to separate theoretical risk from material platform risk
