The role
Flipper is hiring someone to lead production test engineering for its hardware, including the new Flipper One. You'll own test strategy, fixtures and factory rollout from prototype to mass production.
What you'll do
- Build and maintain the production testing roadmap for new and existing products
- Lead the test engineering team and balance urgent issues with planned work
- Define test strategies and acceptance criteria, and oversee fixtures and software
- Coordinate test deployment at factories and track test results
- Analyze test data and returns to turn recurring defects into fixes

- Read and develop schematics, use measurement equipment, solder, troubleshoot
- Automated tests and test fixtures, with strong Linux and Python including pytest
- Experience leading an engineering team

- Launching production on-site in China with Chinese factories
