The role
You'll produce AutoCAD design packages and costed bills of materials for LED lighting projects, and staff the installer support line about 40% of the week. Green LED Lighting Solutions wants someone who can defend a drawing to the electrician building it.
What you'll do
- Produce wiring, single-line and layout drawings in AutoCAD from markups
- Build costed bills of materials in the CPQ and ERP
- Take installer support calls on pixel faults, DMX and voltage drop
- Turn repeat calls into installer-facing docs
What they're looking for
Must-haves
- 3+ years designing or drafting at an AV or lighting integrator
- AutoCAD and built signal-flow or wiring packages
- Low-voltage DC basics: voltage drop, power injection, PSU sizing
- Clear phone manner with electricians on job sites
- Available 9-6 Eastern, Mon-Fri; legally able to work in US or Canada
Nice to have
- DMX512 and SPI pixel protocols
- Experience with Advatek, Falcon, PixLite, ENTTEC, Pharos or Madrix
- Revit or D-Tools
