The role
ClickHouse needs an Engineering Manager to lead the Control Plane Platform team, which owns API gateways, shared services and deployment patterns. You'll treat other engineering teams as customers and shape the platform roadmap.
What you'll do
- Lead, coach and grow the Control Plane Platform team, including hiring
- Own the platform surface: API gateways, shared services, CI and observability
- Guide architecture and land cross-team migrations without stalling delivery
- Own SLOs, reliability and on-call quality for multi-tenant k8s services
- Write the roadmap and RFCs that build cross-org consensus

- 8+ years in software engineering, 3+ managing engineers
- Led a platform or infrastructure team serving other engineering teams
- AWS, Terraform, Helm and progressive delivery experience
- Docker and Kubernetes, including many apps in a shared cluster
- Experience leading distributed global teams across time zones
Nice to have
- Large TypeScript/Node monorepo and developer-experience experience
- Internal developer platforms and golden-path templates
- Experience with ClickHouse or data-intensive applications
