The role
Volta needs a Senior Director to lead infrastructure engineering across its AI factories in EMEA and the Americas. You'll own design standards and build the team as the company scales.
What you'll do
- Lead and grow a team of infrastructure engineering specialists
- Develop and deploy engineering design standards across all projects
- Shape Volta's Reference Design for AI factory infrastructure
- Support live projects from concept through commissioning
- Own design reviews, technical assurance and design authority

Must-haves
- Degree in electrical, mechanical, civil or building services engineering
- Senior leadership of multidisciplinary data centre or mission critical teams
- Deep expertise in a core discipline such as power distribution or cooling
- Track record deploying design standards or reference designs at scale
- Hands-on experience with high density, liquid cooled AI and HPC environments
Nice to have
- CEng or PE chartered status
- Exposure to both North American and European projects
- Utility scale power, onsite generation or energy storage experience
