The role
Analogue Insight needs a CTO to set the technology strategy for its electrical and photonic interconnect IP and lead the CTO Office. You'll report to the CEO as part of the executive team.
What you'll do
- Define the long-term technology vision for electrical and photonic interconnect
- Build the multi-year IP roadmap across SerDes, UCIe, memory interfaces and converters
- Act as final technical authority on architecture and design closure
- Build and lead the CTO Office and mentor senior engineers
- Represent the company to customers, foundries, investors and universities
What they're looking for
Must-haves
- PhD in electrical engineering, focused on high-speed analog/mixed-signal design
- 15+ years in high-speed analog design, including senior technical leadership
- World-class expertise in SerDes, clocking and PLLs, or high-speed data converters
- Track record taking complex designs from architecture to working silicon
- Publications at venues like ISSCC or VLSI, patents, and academic and industry network
Nice to have
- Professorship or senior research position at a leading university
- Photonic or optical interconnect experience
- Start-up or scale-up experience, including working with investors and boards
