The role
Maze Multiplayer needs a design technology lead to unite its technologists and web developers and set technical direction across client engagements. You'll manage the team and work closely with development partners.
What you'll do
- Lead technical direction and architecture decisions across projects
- Manage and coach the technologists and web developers who report to you
- Plan and run multiple concurrent engagements, from scope to delivery
- Set engineering standards, code quality expectations and QA practices
- Build rapid prototypes, including hardware integrations
What they're looking for
- 10+ years in design technology, creative development or a close discipline
- At least 2 years as a people manager
- Full-stack depth across frontend, backend, infrastructure and DevOps
- Work samples the team can access
- Minimum 3-hour overlap with Toronto (EDT) time zone
