The role
Supabase needs a platform engineer for its Edge & Networking squad, which owns the API gateway, routing, load balancing and DNS. You'll build and run the global edge layer with low latency and high availability.
What you'll do
- Design and build Supabase's global edge router platform
- Build programmable, API-driven routing logic to steer customer traffic
- Work with DNS, WAF, TLS termination, CDN and global load balancing
- Implement observability for latency, routing health and failure mitigation
- Join on-call rotations and post-incident reviews for edge issues

Must-haves
- 5+ years in SRE, DevOps or cloud infrastructure
- 4+ years running high-scale networking or edge infrastructure
- Strong HTTP, TCP/IP, TLS, CDN and load balancing knowledge
- Proxy experience such as Envoy, NGINX, HAProxy or Traefik
- Strong software engineering in Go
Nice to have
- Knowledge of IPv6, BGP, Anycast or advanced routing protocols
- Infrastructure as Code experience, Pulumi preferred
- Large deployments on AWS, GCP or Azure
