The role
Supabase is building a dedicated SRE practice inside Service Operations. You'll shape SLOs, readiness reviews and incident learning so other teams own their own reliability.
What you'll do
- Define SLIs, SLOs and error budget policies with service teams
- Run and evolve the Operational Readiness Review process
- Turn postmortem findings into systemic fixes and readiness improvements
- Advise on architecture reviews, failure modes and resilience design
- Find operational toil and build automation to remove it

- 7+ years in SRE, production engineering or reliability roles
- Software engineering mindset: you write code and build tools
- Hands-on experience operationalizing SLOs and error budgets at scale
- Strong incident response and postmortem facilitation experience
- Cloud and infrastructure-as-code skills (AWS, Pulumi, Terraform or CDK)
Nice to have
- Kubernetes-based platform operations
- OpenTelemetry, VictoriaMetrics or Grafana familiarity
- Building developer-facing reliability tooling like SLO dashboards
