Pencil is hiring an Engineering Manager to lead engineers and team leads across multiple teams, owning hiring, growth, planning and delivery. It's a people and process role, not hands-on technical delivery.
What you'll do
- Lead, coach and develop engineers and team leads across multiple teams
- Run 1:1s, feedback, performance reviews and career development
- Align planning, delivery and incident processes with other Engineering Managers
- Support engineering hiring and onboarding through interview loops
- Champion AI-first ways of working with human review of what ships
