The role
OKX needs a hands-on leader to build and run its global tax information reporting function across every reporting entity. You'll own the data spec, vendor, QA and filings for CARF, DAC8, CRS 2.0, FATCA and 1099-DA.
What you'll do
- Own the end-to-end CARF, DAC8, CRS 2.0, FATCA and 1099-DA reporting cycle
- Define the data specification feeding the tax platform vendor
- Build and run the QA framework that releases every filing
- Set group reporting policy and manage the tax platform vendor
- Build a small senior team and train local compliance leads
What they're looking for
Must-haves
- 7+ years in tax information reporting or regulatory data reporting
- 3+ years leading a team
- Hands-on experience in a global digital asset business
- SQL and data skills, including reconciling transaction data to a ledger
- Working knowledge of CARF, DAC8, CRS and FATCA
Nice to have
- Experience with US Form 1099-DA or 1099-B production
- Direct CARF or DAC8 implementation experience
- CPA, chartered tax adviser or a degree in data science or accounting
