The role
TRM Labs' Scam Disruption team needs a location specialist to map pig butchering and romance scam compounds. You'll turn open-source, commercial and on-chain leads into targeting packages for law enforcement.
What you'll do
- Locate and map scam compounds, people and devices
- Fuse intelligence with on-chain attribution and OSINT to identify operators
- Pivot from a single address, IP, photo or victim lead to the wider network
- Build targeting packages with threat intel and CTI analysts for law enforcement

Must-haves
- 3 to 5 years of hands-on GEOINT in military, IC, law enforcement or a GEOINT/OSINT firm
- Ability to get answers from open-source and commercial tools
- Link and pattern analysis across disparate data sources
- Clear written and verbal communication, including memos and attribution write-ups
- AI fluency in your daily workflow, with examples
Nice to have
- Crypto experience
- Familiarity with Southeast Asia scam compounds or Chinese-run criminal networks
