The role
Oyster needs a payroll analyst on a 9-month fixed-term contract to validate multi-country payroll, run audits and recommend control improvements. You'll work with external providers, finance and people teams.
What you'll do
- Analyze multi-country payroll data to support accurate processing and reporting
- Validate payroll inputs and outputs and resolve discrepancies
- Run regular payroll audits and reconcile records with the general ledger
- Recommend improvements to accuracy, controls and compliance
- Coordinate data exchange with external payroll vendors and internal partners

Must-haves
- 3+ years in payroll analysis or related payroll/finance roles
- Hands-on multi-country payroll and payroll tax compliance knowledge
- Advanced Excel or Google Sheets, including lookups and pivot tables
- Experience with payroll software and basic data-transformation tools
- Fluent English and a reliable home internet connection
Nice to have
- Payroll exposure across continental Europe, Ireland, CEE, APAC or South Africa
- Experience coordinating local payroll providers or vendors
- Payroll-to-general-ledger reconciliation or broader accounting experience
