The role
Linear's small Data team needs an analytics engineer to own dbt models, pipelines and dashboards across Product and GTM. You'll also operationalize data through reverse ETL and use LLMs and coding agents day to day.
What you'll do
- Turn ambiguous Product and GTM questions into metrics, models and analyses
- Build and maintain dbt models and pipelines for product, customer and business data
- Improve testing, documentation, performance and reliability of the data stack
- Build dashboards and self-service reporting in Metabase and Hex
- Partner with GTM Engineering on scoring, segmentation and automations via reverse ETL

- Exceptional SQL and hands-on dbt with a modern cloud data warehouse
- Track record owning data projects end to end
- Strong data modeling and analytical judgment
