The role
Supabase is building a CI/CD execution platform behind its Branches feature, and you'd design the distributed systems that run builds securely at scale. You'll work in Go and TypeScript on AWS, in an async, fully remote team.
What you'll do
- Design the orchestration engine for creating, merging and rebasing Supabase Branches
- Provision sandboxed build environments on EKS or ECS for untrusted workloads
- Build job scheduling that scales to thousands of concurrent builds
- Cut pipeline runtimes with caching, artifact storage and dependency reuse
- Add traces, metrics and logs so users can see what their pipelines do
What they're looking for
Must-haves
- Strong software engineering skills in Go and TypeScript
- 3+ years building and operating cloud infrastructure or distributed systems
- Working knowledge of AWS
- Track record of building reliable, observable systems
- Experience in async or globally distributed teams
Nice to have
- Experience with AWS SDKs
- Experience with IaC tools such as Pulumi or Terraform
