The role
Supabase is hiring a Software Engineer for its Turso core database team, working on the open-source database and the Turso Cloud. You'll push Postgres compatibility forward and scale the cloud to 100x more databases.
What you'll do
- Drive the Turso open-source database, especially the Postgres compatibility layer
- Build the systems and guarantees that keep code correct and unbroken
- Maintain Turso Cloud operations, including the Cloud API and data plane
- Scale Turso Cloud to support 100x more databases

- Have written databases or similar low-level systems like kernels or hypervisors
- Experience with remote teams and open-source communities
- Experience with Deterministic Simulation Testing, fuzzing or formal verification
- Experience running large-scale cloud systems in production, such as AWS and Kubernetes

- Comfortable with LLM-assisted development and evals
