The role
TRM Labs wants a senior engineer to build AI-powered tools and agentic workflows alongside its intel analysts. You'll own projects end to end, from product choices to back-end systems.
What you'll do
- Embed with intel analysts to understand their workflows and goals
- Pick the highest-leverage ways to improve intelligence collection
- Design, build and own AI-powered internal apps, from back end to UI
- Develop agentic solutions using models from OpenAI, Anthropic and Gemini
- Run projects from scoping and architecture through delivery and support

- 6+ years of full-stack engineering on scalable web apps, services and APIs
- Strong product sense: spotting and shipping the highest-impact solution
- Proficiency in Python and/or JavaScript/TypeScript with strong back-end skills
- Experience with datastores like Postgres/pgvector, Pinecone or Redis, and API design
- Hands-on experience with AI tools, agentic IDEs or AI-enabled workflows
