The role
Consensys's MetaMask TechOps team needs a senior sysadmin to own cloud and SaaS systems, lead incident response and automate operations. You'll be the main IT contact for a globally distributed workforce.
What you'll do
- Administer Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom and Atlassian
- Lead incident response, including root cause analysis and reviews
- Build automation to cut manual work and improve observability
- Define and enforce security and access control policies
- Onboard and offboard staff and ship equipment to remote employees
What they're looking for
Must-haves
- 5+ years in systems administration or infrastructure engineering
- Strong working knowledge of cloud infrastructure
- Experience administering enterprise SaaS and MDM tools (e.g. JumpCloud, Okta)
- Solid grasp of networking, identity management and access control
- Clear communicator who can explain technical issues to non-technical colleagues
Nice to have
- Web3, fintech or high-growth tech experience
- SOC2 or ISO 27001 exposure
- Experience across two major cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure)
