The role
8th Light needs a lead engineer to run consulting engagements, set architecture direction and mentor teammates. Expect one or two clients a year across varied stacks, including ML lifecycle work.
What you'll do
- Lead architecture and software design discussions on client projects
- Manage project roadmaps and backlogs as team lead on large engagements
- Build systems covering the full ML lifecycle, from data ingestion to monitoring
- Keep client technical leaders updated and clear blockers for your team
- Mentor colleagues and run workshops internally or for clients
