The role
Phaidra needs a senior engineer to own how its product connects to customer telemetry, alarms and internal systems in AI data centers. You'll design secure integrations with customer teams and turn them into reusable product features.
What you'll do
- Lead connectivity projects from design through production and ongoing upkeep
- Work with customer technical teams to find the best way to connect their data
- Build integrations that ingest telemetry, alarms and system data securely
- Turn one-off customer integrations into reusable, documented product features
- Mentor engineers and take on-call ownership of your team's products
What they're looking for
Must-haves
- 7+ years of professional software engineering
- Production Python or Go in cloud environments
- Docker and Kubernetes experience
- Solid grasp of HTTPS, TLS, MQTT and network security
- Based in the US or Canada, Pacific time preferred
Nice to have
- Industrial protocols such as BACnet, Modbus or OPC UA
- Experience with GCP and observability tooling like Prometheus or Grafana
- Multi-tenant systems with high availability and fault tolerance
