The role
Caylent's Anthropic Business Unit needs a strategic lead for AI engagements, setting direction while a paired engineer builds. You'll run discovery, design AI operating models, present to executives and win follow-on work.
What you'll do
- Own AI engagements end-to-end, from discovery through executive handoff
- Design AI operating models and outcome maps tied to business results
- Run executive workshops and present ROI findings to CTOs and business leaders
- Direct a paired FDE on Claude Code tooling, prompt architecture and automation
- Spot expansion opportunities and shape follow-on scope with clients
What they're looking for
Must-haves
- 8+ years in software development or technical architecture, incl. hyperscalers
- 3+ years in engineering leadership, technical consulting or solutions architecture
- Certified Claude Architect
- Experience advising on AI operating models or digital transformation
- Strong executive communication and workshop facilitation across business and technical audiences
Nice to have
- Familiarity with PE portfolio company environments
- Experience with LLM prompt engineering or agentic AI workflow design
- Familiarity with DORA or DevEx maturity frameworks
