The role
Supabase needs a fluent Japanese and English speaker to resolve advanced Postgres, Auth and Edge Functions issues for customers. You'll work with engineering to turn real support cases into product and docs improvements.
What you'll do
- Resolve advanced customer issues across Postgres, Auth, Storage and Edge Functions
- Reproduce bugs, find root causes and escalate to engineering with clear steps
- Advise advanced users on optimizing workloads and avoiding common pitfalls
- Spot patterns across tickets and recommend docs, tooling and product fixes
- Mentor junior team members and raise support quality

Must-haves
- Fluent Japanese and English
- Experience supporting complex technical products in Japanese
- 6+ years in technical support, backend engineering or SRE
- Deep PostgreSQL knowledge and strong SQL query optimization
- Hands-on AWS, Linux and terminal experience
