The role
Correlation One needs a Lead Instructor to teach the Data Annotation track of a virtual training-to-jobs program in Somalia. You'll lead live classes in Somali and English during East Africa Time hours.
What you'll do
- Lead live virtual lectures and hands-on demos using supplied curriculum
- Teach in both English and Somali, walking learners through real annotation tasks
- Shape learner portfolio projects to match real entry-level annotation work
- Submit lecture plans 10 days ahead and join a weekly team check-in
- Apply learner survey feedback to improve lessons

Must-haves
- Professional proficiency in Somali and English, spoken and written
- 5+ years in data annotation, labeling, AI data quality or MLOps
- Team lead, reviewer or QA experience on annotation work
- Hands-on experience with annotation and labeling platforms
- Adult teaching or training experience, ideally remote with beginners
Nice to have
- AWS Certified AI Practitioner or equivalent AI certification
- Arabic proficiency and familiarity with Maay
- Experience working in or hiring for remote annotation roles
